L.F. CALHOON
Proprietor of Livery, Feed and Sale Stable, was born May 7th, 1838, in Mahoning county, Ohio, and moved to Indiana when thirteen years of age. There remained till nineteen, when he came to Missouri and settled in Sullivan county, and engaged in farming. Followed the business some eight years and came from there to Kansas City in 1868, and commenced the livery business in which he has since been engaged. He keeps an average of about thirty head of horses and a good stock of buggies and carriages. He is the youngest of a family of twelve children, and they are all living. He was married to Miss Mary Flickinger, in 1866. She is a native of Wayne county, Ohio, and was born in 1843.
