Members of the Eagles and Moose today attended the funeral of W. Lercy Blanc, Alliance soldier, who died at Little Rock, Ark. Soldiers at home on furloughs were pallbearers.

Jesse Simon, 87, died today at his home, Indianola Heights, this city. He was born in a log house on a farm at the site and was known as a prosperous farmer.

Mrs. Rosanna Squier Manchester, 81, member of a well known Mahoning county family and mother of Curtis A. and LeRoy A. Manchester, local corporation attorneys, died today at her home in Canfield. Her husband Hugh a Manchester, president of Canfield bank, former member of the legislature and many years teacher and examiner with six children, survives.

Christopher T. Adams, 74, great grandson of John Quincy Adams, third president of the United States, is dead here. He had been a blacksmith. Death was due to heart failure.

Because he alleges that while ill with rheumatism his wife struck him and declined to allow him money with which to procure medical aid, together with her fault-finding, Jacob C. Hawnbares today sued for divorce. He asks alimony. They have been married 36 years and she owns the property.

Homer Baldwin, 90, veteran miller and business man of this city, died this morning. He was a son of Judge Eli Baldwin, who helped survey the Western Reserve and erected the first grist mill in this oart if the state.
