John Heinerman
The death of John Heinerman occurred Sunday at the home of his sister Mrs. Geo. Frantz In Salem. He was living prior to his death on the Geo. Campbell farm east of here, but was taken to Cleveland Friday night for an operation but he was not in condition to have it performed and was brought back to Salem Saturday morning where his death occurred. Funeral services were held Tuesday Afternoon.

Heiser (Infant)
A daughter of Solomon Heiser, of Milton township, Mahoning county, Ohio, fed carbolic acid to her baby brother, aged 4 months, and killed the child. [Source: "Minster Home Light," (Minster, OH), Oct. 13, 1888; tr. by GT Transcription Team]

Catherine Hoffert

Smith's Corners, OCT 14 -- Mrs Catherine Hoffert widow of the late Thos Hoffert died early Sunday morning after a long illness, aged 84 years. She leaves three sons, one daughter and a brother. The deceased was an excellent woman and had a host of friends. Funeral services Tuesday forenoon were held in the Lutheran Church at Cornersburg, Rev. J.C. Schoaf of Canfield officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
