Joseph Knight
Boy Killed by Electricity
Columbus O - Joseph Knight aged 10 years was killed by coming in contact with an iron fence around the Mound street school house which had been charged with electricity from a fallen live wire. His brother Robert Knight, aged 7, and Ray Vermilion, aged 6, were fatally injured. Four other boys were shocked and seriously hurt. The wet paving drenched by a heavy rainfall which fell Monday made a perfect connection. The other boys were shocked while trying to pull the Knight boy from the fence where his body was omitting a shower of sparks.
