Carmi Rorick, 28, section foreman for the Big Four railroad at Caledonia, was killed and Burt Burkholder, 50, and Emmanuel Thomas, 50, both of Caledonia and Big Four section employes, were injured when the railway motor car on which they were riding crashed into a similar car on the track at Slick's station five miles east of Marion. Burkholder's condition was regarded as critical.

Marion, Ohio, Jan 15 - Five persons burned to death in a fire which destroyed the home of Chris Houk, near Espyville, this county, early today. The dead are; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Houk and their three small children. A defective flue is believed to have caused the blaze.
