ROCKFORD - Orris E. Now, 77, died at 5.50 p.m. Wednesday in Van Wert County Hospital. Survivors include his wife. Alma; two sons. Vaughn Now of Massillon and Morris Now of Celina; five stepsons, Richard Stephenson, Charles Stephenson and Larry Stephenson, all of Rockford , Marlin Stephenson of Wapakoneta and Jerry Stephenson of Maitland, Fla ; a step-daughter, Mrs. Maurice ( Virginia )
Clegg of Durham. N.C.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Mrs. Ora (Hazel) Coates of Lima and Opal Rhodes of Celina Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at W. H. Dick and Sons Funeral Home. Celina. 
 Burial will be in Swamp College Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the funeral home.

ROCKFORD - James Byron, 44, died at 9.30 p.m. Saturday shortly after admittance to Van Wert County Hospital following an apparent heart attack. 
He was born Jan. 12, 1937, in Cincinnati , the son of Leo and Kathryn Green Byron. His mother, Kathryn West, survives in McCreary
County
, Ky.
On June 29, 1972, he married Cecelia Martin, who also survives. 
Survivors also include four sons, Richard Byron, Robert Byron and James Byron, all at home, and Gregory Byron with the U.S. Marine
Corps; two stepsons, Donald and Gerald, both at home; four daughters, Sandra Byron, Joanne Byron, Jeanie Byron and Carol Byron, all of Springfield; four stepdaughters, Deborah Vann of Celina, Kathy Johnson of Springfield, Vickie Field of Rockford and Catherine, at home; four grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Watson of McCreary County, Ky. 
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Riverside
Cemetery. Friends may call anytime today at the funeral home.

ROCKFORD - Alta F. Forlow, 80, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Van Wert County Hospital following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 22, 1904, in Adams County , Ind., the daughter of Charles and Orra Rawley Forlow. Miss Forlow had been a cook. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church . Survivors include three brothers, Gerald Forlow of Geneva , Ind. , Amos Forlow of Van Wert and Forest Forlow of Convoy; and a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Valentine of Rockford. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford , Rev. Ben Faulk officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

ROCKFORD - Floyd A. Baltzell, 69, of here, died at 9:S0 a.m. Friday in the Shane Hill Nursing Home, where he had been a patient for three weeks. 
Survivors include five sons, Fred, James and Gary of here, Ned of Mendon and Wayne of Lansing , Mich. ; two half-brothers; a sister; 13 grand-children and one great-grand-child. 
Masonic services wttl be 7 p.m. Sunday at the Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, where funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Neptune Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:30
a.m. Sunday.

MENDON - Clarence Mihm, 84, of Rt. 1 died Sunday at 6:05 a.m. in Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford.
Surviving are three sons, Doyt of Rt. 2, Rockford and Ronald and Mack both of Celina; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Joan) Weaver of Piqua and Mrs. Vernon (Martha) Rider of Rt. 2, Rockford ; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford , Rev. Sam Brewster officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.   Friends may call at the funeral home.

CELINA.— Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, for Carl Montgomery, 74. He died at 9:20  a.m. Monday in Coldwater Community Hospital. 
Survivors include his wife. Ruth; a son, Carl Douglas Montgomery of Marion;  three daughters. Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Lewis of East Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Norman (Suzanne) Harruff of Decatur, Ind., and Mrs. Dwight (Sally Ann) Harruff of Dayton ; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers, Robin Montgomery of Cedar Creek, Texas and Reid J Montgomery of Cuyahoga  Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of W. H. Dick and Sons Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours.

MENDON - Ada W. Hach, 83, of here died at 1:35 a.m. Friday in the Celina Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include a son, Victor D.
Lampy of Fort Worth , Texas ; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Madascy of here and Mrs. Ralph Anna Smith of Elkhart , Ind. ; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the W. H. Dick and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery. 
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

CELINA. Nov. 5—Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nazarene Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Loretta Mae Lynch, who died at her home here, Sunday. Surviving are the  husband. Elmer Lynch: six sons, Herbert, Robert, Richard, Howard, Glenn and Jack, all of Celina: five daughters Mrs. Mrs. Clara Stolick, Dayton,  Helena Lynch, Opal Marie Lynch, Viola Lynch, and Marjorie Lynch, all at home. Burial was in Swamp College cemetery.

ROCKFORD, Nov. 7 — Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church Thursday afternoon for Melvin John Gehm, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gehm. Liberty-tp, who died here at Otis hospital Tuesday morning. Young Gehm was injured while playing baseball on Nov. 1. Surviving are the parents, and one brother, Melville Gehm. Burial in the church cemetery.

Dorothy Lammers, 61, of here, died at 6 p.m. Friday at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo after a long illness.
She was born Nov. 1, 1924, in Mercer County , a daughter of Elmer and Cora (Swigart) Gilmore. On Sept. 21, 1945, she married Calvin Lammers, who survives.
She was a junior high school teacher in Celina. A member of St. John Lutheran Church in Celina, she was past president of the University Women's Club and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors also include one son, Thomas Lammers of Celina; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Cheryl) Weaver of Auburn, Ind.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vernon (Helen) Speckman of Celina; and one brother, Vernon Gilmore of Athens.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church , Celina, Rev. Eugene Langhetlz officiating. Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stein and Lehman Funeral Home in Celina.

DOROTHY JACKSON LEE, 92, died at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 21, 1994, in Kenton.
She was born Nov. 17, 1902, in Rockford to E.E. and Minnie (Wolfe) Jackson.
She married Perry Lee, who died in November 1993. Mrs. Lee was a retired teacher for Rockford , Kenton and
Rushsylvania schools. She was also a member of Rockford Presbyterian Church and The Order of the Eastern Star,Celina. Survivors include a brother, Dr. Calvin Jackson of Kenton. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery Rockford. The Rev. Karen Long will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery . Arrangements are by Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton, and Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford.

Edna Paxson, 87, of 7660 Bliss Road , Elida, died at 9 a.m. Sunday at Delphos Memorial Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 14, 1893, in Van Wert County , the daughter of CharJes and Elizabeth Miller Overholt. On April 20, 1912, she married Levi M. Paxson, who died in 1962. 
Mrs. Paxson was a member of Middle River Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Boyd Paxson of Lima, and Norman Paxson of Wapakoneta; two daughters. Mrs. Rutherford (Bonda) O' Bryan of Springfield and Mildred Allen of Elida; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-
grandchildren; a great-great-grand-child; and two brothers, C.E. Overholt of Venedocia and Ira Overholt of Van Wert.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Harter and Son Memorial Chapel, Rev. Larry Hopkins
officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Rockford . Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Maria Stein - Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. John Catholic church for Henry J. Wendeln, 80, former sawmill operator and landowner, who died recently at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Urban Menker, here. Rev. Father Evaristus Olberding will be the celebrant and burial will be in the church cemetery.

A lifelong resident of this community, Wendeln married Mary Elizabeth Schulte in 1880. She preceded him in death in March. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Men's society of the church and of the St. Rochus commander Knights of St. John.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Rose Menker, Mrs. Bernadine Hausfeld, Mrs. Ann Zumwald and Mrs. Celia Pohlman, all of Maria Stein; a sister Mrs. John Bruhs, also of Maria Stein; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Maria Stein - Solemn requiem high mass will be offered Friday at 9 a.m. at St. John's church for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wendeln, 80, wife of Henry Wendeln of Maria Stein, who died Sunday afternoon at her home after a lingering illness.

Rev. E. Olberding will be celebrant of the mass, Rev. Benno Holler, deacon and Rev. Norbert Sweeterman the sub-deacon. Burial in the church cemetery.

Mendon - Funeral services were held at the Anderson Bethel Church of God on Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Ida Clay, 74, who died at a Lima hospital on Friday following surgery.

Surviving are the husband, two sons, two sisters, 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Burial in Frysinger cemetery.

Celina - Laura Zizelman, 58, of Rt. 3, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at her home.

Surviviors include her husband, Richard; mother, Hazel Gibson of Rockford, a son Kenneth of Rockford; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Janet) Andrews of Rt. 1, Rockford; two brothers, James and Wavel, both of Rockford; two sisters, Pauline Keene, and Grace Shaffer, both of Rockford; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. Burial in Mercer Memory Gardens.

Friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where Eastern Star memorial services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

ST. HENRY, Oct. 10—Funeral services will he held at the St. Henry Catholic church Friday morning at 8 o'clock for James Rafferty. 73, who died at home in St. Henry on Tuesday.

Surviving  are  two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jacobs of St. Henry and Mrs. Gertrude, Myers of Ft. Recovery; and two brothers. Burial  in the church cemetery.
