Creighton Zeigler
Mendon - Creighton Zeigler, 92, died at 6:20 am Nov. 28 1999 at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford. He was born Dec.7, 1906, in Melrose to Charles and Mary (Schein) Zeigler. On Aug. 8,1930, he married Ada M. Nichols, who died April 25, 1985.
Mr. Zeigler retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., St. Marys, and was a former fireman and fire chief for the Village of Mendon . He was a member of the Mendon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas (Nancy) Zeigler of Troy, David (Carol) Zeigler of Strongsville, and Paul (Polly) Zeigler and William (Gloria) Zeigler, both of Celina: four daughters, Mary (Arthur) Finnegan of Celina. Jo (Robert) Mosier and Phyllis (Wayne) Gamble, both of Van Wert, and Carol (Harold) Welker of Troy; two sisters, Rhea Creighlow of Royal Oak, Mich., and Wilma Heffner of Celina, 22 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren. 20 great-grandchildren and four step-great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Zeigler, a brother, Earl Zeigler, three sisters, Clara Pond, Frankie Wilson and Miriam Nichols: and a grandson.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mendon United Methodist Church. The Revs. Paul Bunnell and Randy Christian will officiate. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at W. H. Dick & Sons Funeral Homes, Mendon, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

D. Burl Zeisloft
D. Burl Zeisloft, 80, 3601 Ohio 703, Celina, died at 6:15 a.m. Feb. 7, at his son's home in Celina.
He was born June 12, 1922, in Belmore, to Harry J. and Betha M. (Casteel) Zeisloft. In 1969 he married Alice Mae Thompson, who died Sept. 21, 1998.
Survivors are three sons, two daughters, a step-son, a step-daughter, a sister, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the owner of the Celina Dairy Queen for 40 years and was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, a member of Celina American Legion, and was a member of St. Paulís United Methodist Church in Celina.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Robert Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery. Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Laura Zizelman
Celina - Laura Zizelman, 58, of Rt. 3, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; mother, Hazel Gibson of Rockford, a son Kenneth of Rockford; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Janet) Andrews of Rt. 1, Rockford; two brothers, James and Wavel, both of Rockford; two sisters, Pauline Keene, and Grace Shaffer, both of Rockford; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. Burial in Mercer Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where Eastern Star memorial services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
