of out of town guests were present, among whom were Mr. and Mrs Bernard Fox, of Eaton, parents of the bridegroom, Miss Alda

First to Secure a License
The first marriage
license issued in
Preble
County
in the year 1925 was procured by C. W. McIntosh, editor and publisher of
the Twin Valley Echo at West Alexandria, and Miss Ellen Beachler, nurse,
of
West Alexandria
. The editor and publisher gave his
age as 67 and Miss Beachler as 40.

Wedding Celebration Today
Arrangements were
completed for celebration of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs.
Augustus N. Crowell, which took place Wednesday at their home, about
three and a half miles south of Eaton, in
Dixon
township. The couple received their
relatives, friends and neighbors throughout the day and in the evening.

Stanley Anderson, popular and well known local young man was
united in marriage Wednesday afternoon to Miss Bertha Heckman of Eaton.
The ceremony was solemnized in the M. E. parsonage by Rev. J. R. Wynd,
pastor of the Camden Methodist church. The
groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anderson, of
South Main street
, and the bride is a saleslady in the Spring Bros. store at Eaton, where she has
been employed for the past four years. She
is a sister of Seymour Heckman of Camden and has many friends here having
attended the
Camden
school for three years. The happy
young couple, who have the very best wishes of their many friends, will reside
in Eaton.

. The junior Mrs. Hunt before her
marriage was Miss Ruth Hawkins, of
Richmond

Ind.
, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hawkins.

Miss
Delia VanAusdal, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. VanAusdal, and
William Moon were quietly married Saturday evening at the residence of
the Rev. Vinton E. Busler, pastor of St. Paul M. E. church in Eaton.
The bride has for the last two years or longer filled the position of
stenographer in the office of the
Preble
County
agricultural agent. She is a
graduate of the Eaton schools and is popular in a large circle of friends.
Moon is a member of the linotype corps of the Dayton Daily News and prior
to going to
Dayton
was connected for a few years with Eaton newspapers.
Mr. and Mrs. Moon expect to reside in Eaton, at least for the present,
after returning from a wedding trip. They
probably will reside in
West Decatur street
.
