            Miss Bella Greenbaum and Mr. Louis Fox, of Eaton, Ohio, were married at 6 o’clock yesterday evening at the bride’s home, 144 Wooster Street, by the Rev. David Levy, of the Orange Street Temple.  A number of out of town guests were present, among whom were Mr. and Mrs Bernard Fox, of Eaton, parents of the bridegroom, Miss Alda Fox, the bridegroom’s sister…

  Hamilton Evening News January 7, 1925  Editor First to Secure a License

The first marriage license issued in Preble County in the year 1925 was procured by C. W. McIntosh, editor and publisher of the Twin Valley Echo at West Alexandria, and Miss Ellen Beachler, nurse, of West Alexandria .  The editor and publisher gave his age as 67 and Miss Beachler as 40.

Hamilton Evening News January 7, 1925  Marriage License Issued in Preble

Probate Judge Byron Landis has issued marriage licenses to Carl F. Maag, 20, bookkeeper, of Dayton , and Miss Puline Heller, 22, stenographer, of Camden , and to Harold A. Werts, 24, mechanic, of West Alexandria , and Miss Helen Beatrice Fudge, 19, of Eaton.

Hamilton Evening News January 7, 1925   Golden Wedding Celebration Today

Arrangements were completed for celebration of the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus N. Crowell, which took place Wednesday at their home, about three and a half miles south of Eaton, in Dixon township.  The couple received their relatives, friends and neighbors throughout the day and in the evening.

                                       Hamilton Evening News  November 29, 1924

            Stanley Anderson, popular and well known local young man was united in marriage Wednesday afternoon to Miss Bertha Heckman of Eaton.  The ceremony was solemnized in the M. E. parsonage by Rev. J. R. Wynd, pastor of the Camden Methodist church.  The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anderson, of South Main street , and the bride is a saleslady in the Spring Bros. store at Eaton, where she has been employed for the past four years.  She is a sister of Seymour Heckman of Camden and has many friends here having attended the Camden school for three years.  The happy young couple, who have the very best wishes of their many friends, will reside in Eaton.

Frank Hunt, scaler of weights and measures in Preble County , with his bride has arrived in Eaton from their wedding trip and are residing temporarily with his parents, County Auditor S. G. Hunt and Mrs. Hunt at their home on South Barron Street .  The junior Mrs. Hunt before her marriage was Miss Ruth Hawkins, of Richmond , Ind. , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hawkins.

Miss Delia VanAusdal, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. VanAusdal, and William Moon were quietly married Saturday evening at the residence of the Rev. Vinton E. Busler, pastor of St. Paul M. E. church in Eaton.  The bride has for the last two years or longer filled the position of stenographer in the office of the Preble County agricultural agent.  She is a graduate of the Eaton schools and is popular in a large circle of friends.  Moon is a member of the linotype corps of the Dayton Daily News and prior to going to Dayton was connected for a few years with Eaton newspapers.  Mr. and Mrs. Moon expect to reside in Eaton, at least for the present, after returning from a wedding trip.  They probably will reside in West Decatur street .
