Excerpts from Leipsic Free Press:

Feb. 15, 1906 -
West Leipsic - Jacob FISHER who was taken to the insane asylum, at Toledo, some few months since, died at that institution Monday Feb. 12.  His remains were brought to this place Tuesday and interment took place Wednesday.

Columbus Grove - Mrs. Jesse O. BASINGER died in Pandora, aged 24 yrs.

Mrs. Jennie Hunt HARTZOG was interred in Turner Cemetery from Medina, Ohio.  Age 28, husband Harry H. HARTZOG.

Miller City - infant son of Nick Noirot was buried Tuesday.

March 1, 1906 -
Ella Magdaline Dazey nee Stephen, born Chillicothe April 18, 1882, married John M. Dazey, April 15, 1901.  Children: Florence Bell, b. May 30, 1902; Elmer Leroy, b. July 4, 1904; Ellen Magdaline b. February 4, 1906, d. Feb. 11, 1906.  Age 23 yrs. 9 mos. 23 ds.  All reside in Lorain, buried in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Daniel A. Hemley died in Chicago after an operation.  Funeral was Wednesday in Toledo.  Mrs. Hemley was daughter of Capt. N. S. Ogan.  Age about 55 yrs.

March. 8, 1906 - Probate Court -
Charles B. Winkle, 22 farmer and Lily May Warner, 21, housekeeper, Belmore.

Obituary - Mary J. Edwards, born in England June 17, 1846, came to Hancock County at age 7.  When 18 years married William Johns.  Three sons survive Levi, Charles, Joshua, daughters Alice Emans, Della Johns, Susan Burkhart.  Died Mar. 2, 1906, age 60 years 1 month 5 days.  Buried Harman Cemetery.

Mrs. James Anderson fell and died
Wm. Foltz died Wednesday, b. Licking County Sept. 21, 1842.  Leipsic resident, lived Michigan near Bear Lake.  Was buried Harman Cemetery.
Mrs. James Buckley died in Leipsic this morning (8th).  Obituary next week.
Mrs. Mary Elbin, died north of town (Columbus Grove)  Funeral Monday.  Interment Truro Cemetery.

Rev. Fr. Wittmer, 65, pastor of St. John's church, Glandorf, died at 4 p.m. Monday, after an illness of several weeks, from pneumonia. He had served as parish priest in Glandorf 16 years and was much beloved by the large congregation.

The residence of A. E. Best, west of town, was destroyed by fire of unknown origin. Part of the furniture was saved.

Guy Jaggers, south of here, lost the fingers of a hand, in a corn shredder.

Pandora -

While cutting down an apple tree, Cyrus Steiner was seriously injured by the falling tree.
