William Cody Miley, 69, a farmer of Oakwood died at 2: 30 p.m. Friday in Paulding County Hospital where he was admitted on Oct. 15. Born on Sept. 1, 1905, in Putnam County, he was the son of Charles W. and Della R. (Turner) Miley. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Dot Stoughton of Oakwood, Mrs. James (Lulu) Liggett of Troy, Mrs. Gordon (Olive) Walters of Lima and Mrs. Edith Rose of Miami, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother Henry and a sister, Mrs. Lettie Elston. He was a member of the Keiferville Methodist Church. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Taylor Funeral Home, Oakwood, Rev. Raymond Matson officiating. Burial in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.

KALIDA, Aug. 1—Len Dawson, 69, laborer, died at his home here last night. Besides the widow he is survived by a brother, William, also of Kallda. Services will he held at 2 p. m. LEIPSIC - Peter Berg, 88, of here, died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital . He was born Oct. 29, 1902, in the Netherlands, the son of William and Henerika (Cook) Berg. On Nov. 13, 1935, he married Nora Ann Wilson, who survives. Mr. Berg worked for 26 years at Allied Agri, retiring In 1976. Other survivors include three sons, Bernard Berg, William Berg, and Richard Berg, all of Leipsic; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Sue) Courtney of Bradner; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Love Funeral Home, Leipsic, with Rev. James Badertscher officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. BELMORE - Ramona S. Anguiano,73, of Belmore, died at 6:06 a.m. May 12, 1993, at Lima Memorial Hospital . She was born on Oct. 18, 1919, in Mexico , to Lupe and Concepcion (Alfaro) Sanchez. On March 13, 1937, she married Luis Aguiano, who died on Nov. 30, 1979. Mrs. Anguiano was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Federico (Celia) Rocha and Mrs. Donald (Lydia) Young, both of Belmore; two sons, Luis Anguiano Jr. of Belmore and Rojelio Anguiano of Lima; three brothers, Felix Gallardo, Jesus Gallardo and Bexo Gallardo, all of Adrian, Mich.; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Nellie E. Seitz, 98, route 1, Fort Jennings, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Paradise Oaks Nursing Home, Cloverdale. She was born in Putnam county, Jun 15, 1880 to Roger and Elizabeth Reynolds. She married John Seitz and he died in 1954. Surviving are five daughters, Mae Seitz, Kalida; Mrs. Robert (Helen) Chester, Toledo; Mrs. Walter (Marjorie) Sindel, Delta; Mrs. James (Ruth) Shirey, Lima; Lucille Dailey, Lima; 20 grandchildren; and a sister, Sarah Jones, Cloverdale. She married Cary Shank and he died in December 1960. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Erma) Kern of here; two step-sons, Galen L. Don C. Green, 75, of 723 1/2 W. Wayne, died at 1 p.m. Saturday in Lima Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for 15 days. Born June 29, 1897 in Putnam County, he was the son of Alfred and Mary (Nicholas) Green. He married Ollie Newman Green, who survives. Mr. Green was a retired Lima State Hospital employee. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Augusta Clark of 610 St. Clair Ave., a sister, Mrs. Ruth Leigh of 3300 St. Johns, 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was born in 1863 near Rimer, and was a member of the Ottawa River Christian church, and participated in other church activities. She is survived by her husband, George and a daughter, Mrs. Walter Wood, and a son, William F. both of near Rimer; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Hunt of near Rimer. OTTAWA , April 1 — Funeral services have been arranged for Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Methodist church here for Mrs. Mary Ketner, 69, with Rev. Steiner in charge. Burial will be in Harmon cemetery. Mrs. Kelner died at 12:45 a. m. Tuesday in her farm home southeast of Gilboa after failing to re- cover from the effects of a fall suffered in the kitchen of the home about three weeks ago. She was born to Mary and Christ Rickner, April 11, 1872, in Archbold. Mrs. Ketner married S. M. Ketner Dec. 16, 1924. and they had lived near here since then. She was a member of the Methodist church here. The husband survives together with three brothers, Leo of Adrian , Mich. , Louis of Blissfield, and Ezra Rickner of Archbold, and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Reighard of Swanton. Arrangements are in charge of the Pope Memorial home of Ottawa.

Bernadine Kahle, 95, of Fort Jennings died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in St. Rita's Hospital, Lima. She was born Oct. 1, 1879, in Glandorf, a daughter of Frank and Bernadine (Brinkman) Kahle. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the last survivor of 12 children. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic of which she was a member, with the Rev. Herman Fortman, celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemtery, Glandorf.

OTTOVILLE - Herbert P. Plescher, 73, of here, died at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday at Delphos Memorial Nursing Home. He was bom June 24, 1916, in Ottoville, the son of John H. and Catherine Bendele Plescher. On Sept. 1, 1936, he married Jane (Jenny) Bowersock, who survives. mr Plescher retired in 1977 after 35 years as a conductor on the Nickel Plate Railroad and in 1962 from farming. He was also a licensed pilot. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ottoville. Survivors also include three ions, John Plescher of Elida, Terry Plescher of Texas, and Michael Plescher of Ottoville; a daughter, Mrs. James (Sharon) Knippen of Ottoville; a foster daughter, Betty Bowersock of Ottoville; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. DUPONT - Thelma E. Prowant, 74, of here died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at Hilty Memorial Nursing Home, Pandora. She was born Oct. 14, 1906, in Putnam County, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Wynkoop Leatherman. On Nov. 24, 1930, she married Galen Prowant, who died June 2, 1977.
She was a member of the DuPont Church of God. On Oct. 30, 1940, she married Theodore Haselman, who died March 2,1971. Mrs. Haselman was a home-maker. On Oct. 29, 1924, she married Felix Gulker who died March 28,1972. Mrs. Gulker was a retired school teacher who taught at Palestine School, New Cleveland Elementary and SS Peter and Paul School. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was also a Charter Member of the Glandorf Catholic Ladies of Columbia, a charter member and past president of the American Legion auxiliary, a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.
