Len Dawson

KALIDA, Aug, 1- Len Dawson, 69, laborer, died at his home here last night. Besides the widow he is survived by a brother, William, also of Kallda. Services will he held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Baptist church near Kalida. The Rev. A. D. Pitney, Maumee, will officiate. The body will be removed to the home from the Hartman funeral home Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Ollie Deilman
Mrs. Ollie Deilman, 71, of Route 4, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in her home. The body will remain in the Lewis Funeral Home where services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Ottawa River cemetery.

Mary T. Dickman
Mary T. Dickman, 75, died Tuesday at the home of her son. She was born June 3, 1906, in Glandorf, the daughter of Charles and Amelia (Merschman) Ellerbrock. In 1927 she married Sylvester Dickman, who died in October 1968. Mrs. Dickman was a retired employee of Sylvania Electric. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Ernest of Ottawa, Robert and Thomas both of Lima; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Valeria) Lewis, of Lima. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Glandorf.

Mrs. J. W. Douglass
Ottawa, O., Aug. 1- Mrs. J. W. Douglass, of Kalida,  in this county, committed suicide last Thursday night, by taking morphine. Domestic trouble is the supposed cause. She left one infant child five months old.

Roy Dowler
Funeral arrangements for Roy Dowler, 39, of ContinentaJ, who died at 5:10 p. in. Monday in St. Rita's hospital, are incomplete. Mr. Dowler suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and was admitted to St. Rita's Saturday morning after he was found unconscious on the floor of Die Central State Seed Co., on W. First-st. The body was removed to the Walls funeral home in Continental to remain pending completion of arrangements.

Raymond W Downing
Funeral services for Raymond W Downing, 75, Columbus Grove, were at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Paul Diller and Son Chapel, Bluffton. Rev. Willard Thomas officiated and interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery, Bluffton. He died at 12:48 a.m. last Sunday in Marysville Memorial Hospital, Marysville, after suffering heart failure.

Katherine Drummelsmith
Miller City -- Katherine Drummelsmith, 84, of Leipsic died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at her home.
Survivors include a son Ed Drummelsmith of Leipsic; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers Edwin Birkmeier of Ottawa and John Birkmeier of Columbus Grove; and four sisters, Margaret Drummelsmith of Leipsic; Mrs. Amos (Theresa) Fuerst of Columbus Grove; Clara Hanneman and Veronica Birkmeier both of Ottawa . Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Catholic church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
