(Jan. 24, 1823) Died, Dr. Jacob Jacobs, aged about 60. [The Supporter, Chillicothe, OH - CA, Sub by FoFG]

Service for Robert W. James, Cincinnati, was held at Ware's Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. H.T. Rober officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery with the following carrying the pall: Harold and Dana Burlile, Willard Hertenstein, Leslie Hewitt, Bud Weir and Frank Knapp. [Chillicothe Gazette. Paul V. Johnson, 45, Idaho, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home following an apparent heart attack. Service will be at the Penniston chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Vernon Pfeifer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Latham cemetery, under the direction of the Botkin Funeral Home. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Friday. Mr. Johnson was a sales manager for the Landmark Corp. for Pike and Scioto Counties. He attended the Waverly schools, was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Merritt Post. He was active in the Penniston chapel church, an executive officer in the Pike County civil air Patrol and assistant scout master of Boy Scout Troop 76. Born Oct. 25, 1924, in Pike County, he was the son of Lloyd and Lucy Claytor Johnson. His mother survives. Also surviving are his wife, the former Virginia Hart, whom he married Aug. 7, 1946; one son, Kevin jay, at home; three brothers, harry L., Idaho; Gerald, Route 2; and Gene D., Mansfield; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Lawson, Piqua; Mrs. Mary Minor and Mrs. Patricia Holton, Route 2 (Rest of obit missing on copy.  Chillicothe Gazette.
