Circleville- Mrs. Mary Ogan, 78, of 774 Jefferson Avenue, formally of Circleville, died in Chillicothe Hospital at 1:00 PM Sunday. Services for Mrs. Ogan will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday of at the Defenbaugh Funeral Home with Revs. Demint and E. R. Grindler officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1:00 PM Tuesday. Born April 9, 1892 in Virginia, she was the daughter of Philip and Eustasy Wolford Chandler. Mrs. Ogan is survived by her husband, Fred; one daughter, Mrs. Ward Thompson, of Circleville; a son, Russell, Circleville; a sister, Viola McCamis, Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Waverly- Malcolm R. Oyer, 44, 309 Vine St., was found dead at 11 a.m. Sunday at his residence from an apparent heart attack. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at the Botkin Funeral Home. The Rev. Louis J. Counts will officiate and burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home after 1:00 PM Tuesday. Mr. Oyer was a veteran of World War II and a former employee of the Waverly State Bank. Born on December 1, 1927, in Waverly, he was the son of Unreadable and Mabel Haynes Oyer. Surviving are his father, of the Vine Street address, four brothers, James W., Route 3, Waverly, Frederick W., and Harry T., Waverly, and Eugene D., Latham, and sister, Miss Wynona M. Oyer, Columbus. A graduate of Waverly High School, Mr. Oyer attended Ohio State University where he was a member of the marching band and graduated from Ohio University.
