In July 1839, the name of the postoffice at Clay, Sandusky Co., was changed to Woodville and Amos E. Wood appointed Postmaster, vice Geo. Watt. [Perrysburg Journal (Perrysburg, OH) Friday, 16 Jun 1882, pg 2; tr by KT]
