An interesting find was made by Chet Graves this afternoon when he uncovered an old bottle of Wagner's beer in the old canal bed south of Water Street, while digging for the installation of the new storm sewer. The bottle was full and had one of the old time rubber stoppers which were in vogue so many years ago. It was made by the John Wagner and Son Brewery in Sidney. According to Chief of Police O'Leary, in whose possession the bottle has been placed, it is all of thirty-five years old.
