SIDNEY, April 3—Funeral rites for John Scott Staley, lifelong resident of Port Jefferson who died at the home of his son Wednesday evening from complications resulting from a paralytic stroke, will be held at" the Methodist church at Port Jefferson on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in Glen cemetery. Staley was born April 16, 1867, near Port Jefferson. He married Miss Barbara Rose Wagner on
June 14, 1896, and she preceded him in death in 1929. Two sons and five daughters survive with a
sister and two brothers and 13 grandchildren.

Sidney . Feb. 2—Services for Adam Milton Young, 70, retired railroad employee, who died at his home in Anna Thursday, will be held Saturday. 2 p. m_ at the Brell funeral
home in Anna, with burial in Pearl cemetery, Swanders. 

He was born in Anna and is survived by his wife, Cora E.Young and by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Alesha Friestuhler, Anna; Russell Young, Anna; John Robert Young, Anna; Mrs. George Reeves. Jackson Center ; and Mrs. Carrie Poland, Fletcher.

SIDNEY , Jan. 2—Funeral services for W. H. Clayton, 83, widely known resident of the Jackson Center community, whoso death occurred Saturday morning, were hold at Ihe Methodist church in Jackson Center on Monday afternoon. Burial was made in Glen  cemetery at Port Jefferson.

Clayton was born Dec. 31, 1B56, and was united in marriage with Miss Viola Bell Hill on Feb. 24, 1891. She survives with two daughters.

He followed the vocation of farming until his retirement 17 years ago, when he moved to Jackson Center. Hg belonged to the Masonic order.
