Massillon, Ohio, Nov. 16 (1911) -- Curtis Miller, 29 years old, lost three fingers and part of his right hand Wednesday when his gun was accidentally discharged, while he was hunting rabbits on the farm of John Pitts, seven miles north of here. As Miller was climbing a tree in the middle of a swamp to get a shot at rabbits, the hammer caught on a limb. Companions removed him to his home, where medical attention was obtained.
