John Cash, confined in the lockup at Massillon, for larceny, committed suicide on Sunday night by hanging. Mrs. Urce B. Crouse
Alliance, Feb 16 - Mrs. Urce B. Crouse, 85, died today. [Plain Dealer, Feb 17, 1918]
Edward Crow, 66, of 213 2nd St SW, Beach City, died Thursday afternoon soon after being admitted to Doctors Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack earlier in the day.
Mr. Crow was a life resident of Beach City and was an employee for 46 years of the N & W Railway and predecessor companies, until he retired eight months ago. He attended the Beach City United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Crow; a daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Joaline) Mathias of Richfield and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City, with the Rev. Dean Roush, a former pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the South Lawn Cemetery in Beach City. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening from 7 to 9. [Massillon Independent, 20 Sep 1974 - Sub by Karen K.]
Mrs. Mary Curtis - Services will be conducted Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.H. Watkins, 1316 21st st NW. Rev. Walter McCowatt will have charge. At 8 o'clock the Canton chapter of Order of the Eastern Star will hold a ritualistic service. On Tuesday, the body will be taken to Cleveland, where services will be held at 2 o'clock at St. Mary's Episcopal church in charge of Rev. George I. Foster. Burial will be made in Lakeview cemetery.
