James Haines
James Haines died Sunday afternoon at his home, 1445 Scott avenue. He was 56 years of age and had lived in this city nearly all of his life. Formerly he was a butcher and a carpenter. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters and a son: Mrs. Dr. Bowman, Miss Pearl and William. Tuesday morning at 8:30 short funeral services will be held at his home. Burial will be made at Liberty Corners, about three miles east of Robertsville.

Mary Harning
Mrs. Mary Harning, ninety-five years old, was killed by falling off a foot bridge while walking in her sleep at Marlboro, Ohio.

Mary Hillman
Mrs. Mary Hillman - Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Witticar Funeral parlors. Rev. L. M. Meyer will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Westlawn cemetery. [Monday, July 1, 1929; Repository (Canton, Ohio); Page: 8]

John S. Hoover

Canal Fulton- Apr 3- The funeral of John S. Hoover was held on Friday from the M. E. church. The swervices were conducted by Rev. McCauley. The remains arrived on the morning train from Atlanta, Ga., where death occutrred on Tuesday morning. The were accompanied by Mrs. Hoover and Rev. Dr. Forest of Atlanta. Elliott lodge, F. and A.M. and General McPherson council, Jr. O. U. A. M., attended in a body and assisted in the burial ceremonies, the deceased having been a member of each of those bodies. Mr. Hoover was a native of this township, a graduate of the Canal Fulton High school. He served two terms as county surveyor and recently graduated from the Polytechnic school at Troy, N. Y., and located at Atlanta, Ga., eight months ago and was meeting with good success in his profession of civil engineer when he was suddenly stricken down by spinal meningitis. He was 26 years of age and is survived by his wife, father and mother and two brothers and four sisters. Among those attending the funeral from abroad were Dr. and Mrs. Biles of Cleveland; Mr. & Mrs. A. G. Spangler, of Akron, and ex-mayor Robertson, of Canton.

Maria Hostetter
Died on the 23d ultimo, in Stark county, Ohio, Mrs. Maria Hostetter, wife of Mr. Jacob Hostetter, Jr. and daughter of Mr. Frederick Keeler, formerly of the Borugh, in the 37th year of her age.
