Nancy Allison McKinley
Every business house, the schools, the courthouse and all city offices in Canton, O., were closed on the 14th in tribute of respect for Mrs. Nancy Allison McKinley, mother of the president, the last services for whom were performed in the First Methodist church. Many notable persons were present from Washington and other places to pay their last respects. After the funeral services the Washington guests were entertained at dinner by Mrs. George D. Harter, and at eight o'clock left on the special train for Washington, the president's car being attached.

Margaret A. Mendlein
Miss Margaret Anne Mendlein, 56, died this morning, at 2 o'clock at the residence of her sister. Mrs. Charles Ritter, 11 Brown street, after an illness of two months. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ritter of Massillon, and Mrs. Charles Roan, of Canton, and a brother, Charles Mendlein, of Massillon The funeral will be held at the residentce of Mrs. Ritter, Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock.  The Rev. J.E. Digel, pastor of St. John's Evangelical church, will officiate.  Interment will be made in the Massillon cemetery.  [The Evening Independent, Massillon, OH; May 26, 1925; Sub. by Karen K]

William Mendlein
William Mendlein, 61, life long resident of Massillon, having been born here, died Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the county infirmary, Canton.  The funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence of a brother, Charles Mendlein, in Jarvis avenue.  The rev. J.E. Digel officiated.  Interment was made in the Massillon cemetery. Mr. Mendlein is survived by another brother, George Mendlein, of this city, and four sisters, Mrs. Zachary Lucas, Miss Margaret Mendlein, Mrs. Charles Ritter, of Massillon, and Mrs. Charles Roan, of Canton. Marie S. Mosser
Miss Marie S. Mosser, 32, of 1334 Henry ave SW, died Sunday night in Mercy hospital. She was born in Canton and had lived here all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, the Young Ladies sodality, and Catholic Daughters of America. Besides her father, John A. Mosser, she leaves three brothers, Edward E., Carl P., and Louis N., one niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. J.J.Wagner will be in charge. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery [Monday, July 1, 1929; Repository (Canton, Ohio); Page: 8]

George E. Myres
