James Clifford Canter
James Clifford, in his 15th year. Reisdence 325 Ashland av., passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 4. Beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Canter; brother of William, Gilbert, Ruth and Nancy, at home. Friends may call at the McGovwan Funeral Home where services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Howard E. Short officiating. Interment Oakwood. (McGowan's WA-1312).

Prof. Ed Conant
Akron, Ohio, Aug. 31. -- While bathing in Silver Lake this afternoon Prof. Ed Conant, instructor in the gymnasium of the Chicago University, was attacked with cramps and sank. He was rescued while yet alive, but all efforts to resuscitate him failed and he died an hour later.

E. Copper
BARBERTON, O., April 17. - Prof. E. Copper, for five years principal of the Central High school of Barberton, died last night at Delaware, where he was taken ill several weeks ago. Rev. Clyde P. Barnes, pastor of the Barberton Methodist church, will officiate at the funeral tomorrow afternoon at Delaware.

Alfred Curtiss
Alfred, only child of Frank S. Curtiss, aged three years died Friday morning after an illness of only four days. The funeral occurred Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Haynes, of Twinsburg, officiated, and internment was made in Markville cemetery. [Summit County Beacon (10 Aug. 1887) - MZ - Sub by FoFG]
