Almeda Frances Hayburn Rood
Almeda F. Rood died August 21, 2002.
Almeda had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years and had previously lived In Wilksville, Ohio. She had worked in home health care as an LPN and was a Member of Unity Chapel of Light. She had an exuberant and shining personality And enjoyed creative writing.
Preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E., she is survived by Baby Boy Bogie And Angel who would encourage your attendance at calling hours and services.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, in Unity Chapel of Light, 503 Northwest Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, Rev. Kathleen McKenna officiating. Floyd E. Rood
Floyd E. Rood passed away Dec. 24, 2001.
Mr. Rood was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the Past 50 years, moving here from Wilkesville, Ohio. He had worked as an iron Worker out of Local 17 in Cleveland, and was a veteran of World War II, serving With the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Almeda, and Baby Boy Bogie.

AKRON, June 8. - David Rothrock, a well known citizen of Barberton, jumped from a car on the Rapid Transit line last evening to recover his son's hat which had blown off. The car was moving and as he jumped backward, he was thrown on his head, receiving injuries which caused his death this morning. Mr. Rothrock was formerly a teacher in the public schools of Barberton and elsewhere. He was forty-five years old and leaves a widow and one son. [Plain Dealer (9 June 1897) - MZ - Sub by FoFG]
Thomas D. Rybolt
AKRON, O., Nov. 15. - Thomas D. Rybolt, 80, father of Mayor-elect Daniel C. Rybolt of Akron, died early today at the residence of another son, Clarence Rybolt, 1306 Grant street, Kenmore. Mr. Rybolt's death came on the thirty-fifth anniversary of the death of his wife. He is survived by six sons, Harry of Indianapolis, Clifford of Cincinnati; Thomas of Cleveland; Webster of Ashland; Clarence of Kenmore, and Daniel of Akron. Mr. Rybolt for many years was a farmer in Clermont county. The body was sent tonight to Milford, O., for burial. [Plain Dealer (16 Nov. 1921) - MZ - Sub by FoFG]
