Elizabeth Bigelow Will

The will of Elizabeth Bigelow, late of Richwood, has been entered to probate. She leaves to Minnie McKay, Bessie Easterday, Elsie Osborn and Stella Pierce, all her household goods. She gives to the trustees of Claibourne township, $2200 for keeping the lots of Cornelius Fish and Daniel A. Bigelow. She leaves her brother, John Pierce, $2500, and if he is not living, to his wife and children and William Pierce, in equal shares. She leaves to Minnie McKay, $800; to Bessie Easterday, $200; to Daisy Easterday, $100; to Cleta Easterday, $100; to Frank D. Pierce, $500; to William Pierce, $500. She leaves the residue of the estate to the Union County Children's Home, if legal, otherwise to John Pierce. The will was dated September 16, 1919 and was witnessed by J. F. Wood and William P. Wood.

James S. Baldwin Will

The will of the late James S. Baldwin, late of Taylor township, has been admitted to probate. The property is left to his widow, Maria S. Baldwin, during her life time and at her death, it is to be divided between various heirs. E. C. Reed is appointed executor under a bond of $8,000.

A Short Will

The will of George M. Martin, late of Peoria, has been entered to probate. It is a very unusual will, being written on a small scrap of note paper. He leaves all his property to Mrs. Ellen Sanderson, who at that time was his intended wife. The will was dated November 9, 1929 and he married her after making the will and before his death. The will was witnessed by Blanche Longshore, Howard Longshore, Virginia Montgomery and Homer Montgomery.
