EMERSON: Oscar Emerson has been granted a divorce from Bertha Emerson, on the grounds of gross neglect. [Van Wert Times Bulletin, Jan. 4, 1930]
GRAFTON: Anna M. Grafton has been appointed administratrix of the estate of the late Rolvin Burton Grafton, of Delphos. [Van Wert Times Bulletin, Oct. 18, 1928]
The court of Common Pleas of Van Wert county, met yesterday morning and heard several cases. Among them were the cases of
- Lloyd Moore, charged with larceny on two counts, who plead not guilty.
- Amos Hetzler his companion in guilt, admitted his offense and was sentenced to the penitentiary for three years. These fellows were captured by the "Dutch police", as the Van Wert Bulletin chose to call the Delphos guardians of the peace.
- The Willshire wheat thieves were assigned and all plead guilty, receiving sentences as follows: Bert High-warden, four years; Nathaniel Young, four years; Lon Price, eighteen months; Dayton Young, one year.[The Daily Herald, Oct 24, 1895]
