Moses M'Clean, aged 73. He was a patriot of the revolution, a gentleman of amiable manners, irreproachable character and a true Christian. -Capt. Trippe of the U. S. Brig --- (Vixen) died on his passage from Havanna to New Orleans. -Also, Lieutenant Governor Broome of the State of New York. (*10/12) 1823-On Wednesday the 26th ult. at his farm on Mill Creek, Hamilton county, Ohio, Mr. John Ludlow, Esq., in the 71st year of his age. He has left a wife and twelve children, fifty-four grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He has buried one wife, two children and twelve grandchildren. He served as a captain in the revolutionary war, and fought bravely in defending the liberties of his country. There has fallen another hero who acted a conspicuous part in that arduous struggle which terminated in American independence. On Thursday last his remains were interred with military honors. -On Sunday last, Mrs. Dyche, consort of Mr. Frederick Dyche of this county. -On Tuesday last, Mrs. Polly James, consort of Mr. Aaron James, of this county. -On Tuesday last, Mr. Samuel Gustin, an old and respected inhabitant of this vicinity. 76 after a short but severe illness, Mr. Joseph Eddye, an old and respected inhabitant of this vicinity. On the 11th, June, at Buenos Aires, the Hon. Caesar A. Rodney, Minister Plenipotentiary from U. S. (Interment Phila) (*8/28) On the 23d at his residence in this vicinity David Reeder, in the 76th year of his age. He was an old and respected citizen of this community. Fifteen minutes before his death, he was in full possession of health. -On Friday morning, Mrs. Mary Gill, of this place. (*9/25) On Monday last, Mr. John Martin, an old and respected citizen. -On last week in Hamilton township, Mr. Alexander Hamilton. (*10/16) 1825-On Sunday evening last, Mrs. Dorotha Mix, consort of Mr. George Mix of this town. (*1/1) On Tuesday last in this vicinity, John Hays, aged 70. His remains were interred in the Methodist burying ground with Masonic honors. (*2/5) On Thursday evening last, Daniel Hathway* of this town. (*4/23) On Saturday last after a short but severe illness, Mrs. Milka Adams, consort of Mr. Henry Adams, of this place. The deceased left four children. (*9/6) On Wednesday evening, 10th inst., at his residence near this place, Mr. Charles Fox, Junior, Esq., aged 34 years, leaving a wife and five children. (*9/13) On the 12th inst., after a short but severe illness, which he bore with Christian fortitude, Dr. M. D. Lathrop, of Waynesville**. His remains were interred in the friends burying ground with Masonic honors. Jones. He was a member of the Baptist Church. His life was pious and exemplary.
