May 25, 1919 Lucian G. Brown, 70, died at the City hospital, Lima, Saturday evening at 6 o'clock, following an illness of two weeks. Death resulted from a complication of diseases. He leaves a widow, one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Miller, Carey, and five sons, Walter L. 416 east Albert street, Lima, Merle E., Earnest C., Orel and Floyd Brown, of Carey. The body will be accompanied to Carey where burial will be made. The Marion Star Upper Sandusky - Mrs. Hubert Gregg, 82, a former resident of Upper Sandusky, died Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blair Wyker, near Fredricktown. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Wyker home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Surviving children are Mrs. Wyker, Helen Gregg of Upper Sandusky, Mrs. Mary Ellis of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Harriet Stokley of Palo Alto, Calif., Richard Gregg of Toledo and Dr. R. W. Gregg, of Wakeman, O. Lima News CAREY - Audie (Jack) May, 78, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Indian Trail Nursing Home foiowing an extended illness. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, the Fremont News-Messenger Tom Holdcraft, of Sycamore, went to rejoice in

May 27, 1944, to Howard and Emmalena
Fern (Scheff) Holdcraft. His mother survives. Also surviving are a
brother, Jerry (Paula) Holdcraft of Bucyrus; a sister, Diane Pratt of
Carey; two nieces, Kelly (Tom) Froehle, and Stacey Rock; two nephews, Tom attended He married Marlene (Rose) Nolen, she died in 2000. While married to Marlene he enjoyed life with stepchildren Fred (Vickie) Nolen of Bucyrus, David Nolen of Nevada, Karen (Tom) Painter of Fostoria, Kalvin Nolen of McCuthenville, Teresa (Don) Mayes of Bucyrus, Patty Fishpaw of Bucyrus. His grandchildren are Angela Fortner, Cory Nolen, Todd Dunn, Travis Zeigler, Nicholas and Nathen Fishpaw; and great-grandchildren are Cole, Caden, and Dylan Fortner. On He was an adopted dad and grandpa to many foster
children. He drove semi for many years, and most recently
was employed by HyWay Trucking out of He loved camping and fishing, spending time with the family, cookouts, and helping anyone who needed help. Most of all he enjoyed following NASCAR, sprint racing and being a Dodge fan. Tom was well known among the racing circuit of "hobby-stock cars," winning many races in car No. 39. He was a past member of the Coon Hunters Association of Nevada and Rogers Lake Conservation Club. He was a current member of the Bucyrus Moose Lodge. Riedel, 94, formerly of Riedel was born in He also married Bonnie Wolford and they later were divorced. Mr. Riedel is survived by two sons, Dana (Jean) Riedel of Sycamore, and Van (Cathy) Riedel of Crestline; daughters, Paula (Dale) Kirkpatrick of Newberry Springs, Calif., Anita (David) Wurm of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Angela Haake, Monte Riedel, Christopher and Cory Kirkpatrick, Gayle and Connor Riedel, Mackenzie Harris, David, Cecilia and Gus Wurm; great-grandchildren, Ysabella and Kason Wurm, and Victoria and Amber Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by a brother, Dale Riedel of Bucyrus, and a sister, Marjorie Bookmyer of Sycamore. Mr. Riedel was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Robert Riedel, and two sisters, Cora Swerline and Onolea Reidel. He was a retired dairy farmer and did custom farming in the
neighborhood. He also worked at Webster's Manufacturing and American Standard,
both in He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United
States Army, and received numerous medals for his action in combat: Good Conduct
Medal, American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, European-African-Middle
Eastern Campaign Medal, Army of Occupation Medal with Mr Riedel had numerous hobbies and avocations, including being a Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent, member of the church choir, board of trustees, administrative council. He drove the church bus to pick up people in the area, secretary of Sunday school, member of the Epworth League of the church, member of ASCS. He also was a member of the Crawford County Republican

Richard F.
