WOMAN WOULD DIE FOR SCISSOR'S SAKE
Enid, Oklahoma--Dec. 15, (Special) Driven to desperation because she lost a pair of scissor's that had been in her possession a number of years, Mrs. Betsy Pomery, aged 78, attempted suicide by cutting her throat in the cellar at the home of her son at Goltry late Friday afternoon, and as a result is in a precarious condition.  She was found by her daughter in an unconscious condition after having inflicted several ragged wounds in her throat.  She has lived in Goltry for some time and is well known there.
