DAVID S. BLOSSOM
David S. Blossom, 62, of 6318 Bandera, a general agent for the National Old Line Insurance Co., for seven years, died here Wednesday. He had been a Dallas resident for 40 years. A native of Atoka, Okla., Blossom attended the University of Oklahoma at Norman and had been in the insurance business for 20 years. He was a member of the Christ The King Catholic Church in Dallas and the Million Dollar Round Table of the National Old Line in Little Rock, Ark.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Sparkamn-Hillcrest Funeral Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Highway. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in the Christ The King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery. Blossom is survived by his wife, Virginia, one son, one daughter, one sister and five granddaughters. CLAUDE L. CONNOR
Claude L. Connor, a brother of Chief Justice T. H. Connor of the Second Court of Civil Appeals, died suddenly at Atoka, Ok., Feb. 26. Judge Connor went to that place and accompanied the remains to the old home at Eastland, where the funeral occurred yesterday. Judge Connor returned today. TABITHA FLORENCE ( BITH) HARRIS
Tabitha Florence (Bith) Harris was born 1868 in Illinois, she died Jan 9th, 1930 in Kenefic, Atoka County, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of James Jackson Harris and Julia Ann ( Collins) Harris, she married Hugh Crockett Ritchie, the son of James Monroe Ritchie and Delia Jane ( Smith) Ritchie, (Obviously named after James’s brother Henry Crockett Ritchie) Hugh Crockett Ritchie was born Feb 19th, 1868 in Arkansas.
The father James Monroe Ritchie was born June, 1846 in Perry County, Kentucky, James died Dec 13th, 1918 in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, his wife Deliah Jane ( Smith) Ritchie was born July 7th, 1845 in TN, she died in Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, probable cause of death from Influenza.

JACK EARL HARRISON
Funeral services for Jack Earl Harrison, 30, of 1911 E. Overton Road, a trimmer at the Auto Glass Co., will beheld at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Fourth Ward Church of Christ in Atoka, Okla. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Atoka. He died Tueday.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita, one daughter, one son, his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Harrison, four sisters, and eight brothers. (The Dallas Morning News, August 17, 1974, section a, page 21 Submitted by Peggy Thompson)
MRS. GEORGE PETERMAN
Funeral services for Mrs. George Peterman, 30, 2302 Idaho, who died Friday of injuries received in an automobile collision near Atoka, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. James Catholic Church, Saner and Ewing.
The Rev. F. L. Becker, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Mrs. Peterman was returning from Kansas City, Mo., when the accident occurred early Friday. She died at a hospital in Atoka several hours later. At Kansas City she had visited with a sister, Mrs. Harold Darr, who had been ill.
Mrs. Peterman the former Miss Gracie Mae Gribble, was born at Stamford, Jones County. She lived most of her life in Dallas and attended Adamson High School. Her husband is president of the Park Cities Frozen Food Company. She was a member of St. James church. Mrs. Peterman is survived by her husband, three sons, George Peterman III, John Rusk Terry III and Larry W. Peterman, all of Dallas; her mother, Mrs. Ora Mae Kemendo, Waco, and two sisters, Mrs. Sam Potter, Dallas and Mrs. Darr.
