Okemah, Okla., June 5.--(Special)--The Okfuskee County Teachers' Normal Institute here opened with an enrollment of 110 with the promise of ten or twenty more by the close of the week. The corps of instructors is made up of some of the best school men in the state. Superintendent G. D. Moss of Hennessey is conductor, and other instructors are: T. A. Gross of the Okfuskee highschools, J. F. Harris, superintendent of Okemah's highschools, and Mrs. Hampton, teacher in the Oklahoma City public schools. Counrty Superintendent J. D. Nelson thinks the outlook good for a successful institute and one of the best held in Okfuskee county. (The Daily Oklahoman, June 6, 1913 - Transcribed by C. Anthony)
