Okfuskee Pioneer Is Dead - Old-Time Cattle Man Had Been Here Thirty-Five
Years.

OKEMAH, Jan. 9.--Francis M. Riley, a pioneer citizen of Okemah and Okfuskee county, died at his ranch home
east of Okemah, last Wednesday and was buried in the Highland cemetery here Thursday.
Mr. Riley was one of the old-time cattle men of Texas and Oklahoma, coming to the Indian territory about 35 years
ago. The deceased was born in Kentucky in 1858. Surviving him are his wife and four children. (Tulsa Daily World, Jan. 10, 1922 - Transcribed by C. Anthony)
