In 1895 the Fairland News published for a
year, before reviving in 1905. The Bee, the
Fairland Newsboy, the
Fairland News Herald,
and the Fairland Herald were other
newspapers in
the early twentieth century. The Hallequah, in 1879, and in 1900
W. Innis Torberts published the short-lived Indian Methodist at the
town. The Quapaw Mining Herald, the Quapaw World, Quapaw

A newspaper editor with a nickname of "Rounder" published the
Anti-Hijaker, which he used to expose many of the corrupt public servants.
