Henry King
HENRY R. KING

Mr. King is the able and industrious Representative from Tillman County, Okla., whose home is Frederick. He was born in Randolph County, Arkansas, Nov. 6, 1854. His entire life up to the time of his coming to Oklahoma in September, 1905, was spent in the county of his birth, where after arriving at the age of manhood he was an active Democrat and a factor in the politics of his County. His wife was Miss Elizabeth Ferguson, also a native of the same county. He is a member of the W. O. W. and Royal Americans. He received a common school education in the local schools. His father emigrated from Alabama, to the territory now embraced in Sharp County, Arkansas, in 1815, just 21 years prior to Statehood there. Mr. King is one of Oklahoma's most prosperous farmers. Was a successful farmer before he came to the new State, and of course his prosperity has continued in this land of great advantages.
