Prof. Davee expects to go east soon to visit his father, who is suffering from a disease diagnosed as cancer of the stomach. From letters received a few days ago by the Professor, his father was feeling some better, therefore no immediate danger was apprehended by the physician in attendance. Should contrary reports come, however, Mr. Davee will start at once.
