Hi, I'm Shauna Williams the host of the Oregon site of Genealogy Trails. As you can see this county is looking for someone to adopt it and spend some time making it look nice and fill it with helpful information for the researchers searching in the area! Sherman County, created in 1889 from the northeast corner of Wasco County, was named for Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman.
