| Kauffman, Mrs Laura Annetta | Life Resident of this Section Dies: Mrs. Laura Annetta Kauffman Succumbs at Home of Son-in-law, Charles Hartzell Within two days of her seventierth birthday, Mrs. Laura Annetta Kauffman, life-long resident of Gettysburg and vicinity, died at the homeof her son-in-law, Charles K. Hartzell, York street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock after an illness of two months from a compication of diseases. Mrs. Kauffman was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Biddle and was born near here. For ten years she made her home with the Hartzell family. Mr. Kauffman died eight years ago. Mrs. Kauffman is survived by four daughters and two sons; Mrs. C. K. Hartzell, Mrs. Oliver Miller ad n Mrs. Charles F. Sheads, Gettysburg; Mrs. Edgar McClean, Harrisburg; Daniel B. Kauffman, Harrisburg and James W. Kauffman, Gettysburg. Three sisters, Mrs. Sara Fuhrman and Mrs. John Marine, Gettysburg, and Mrs. Anna White, Hanover; one brother, W. E. Biddle, Gettysburg, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hartzell residence, the Rev. Earl J. | Keitel, Harry Willis | FORMER COUNTY TEACHER DIES Harry W. Keitel, 71 a retired PRR clerk, Harrisburg, died Tuesday evening in the Keystone hospital, Harrisburg. Mr. Keitel was a native of Adams county. He was born near Two Taverns, resided for a number of years in the vicinity of Marsh Creek and taught public school at Bendersville and Freedom township. Around the turn of the century he moved to Harrisburg, where he resided until his death. He was well known in Littlestown, where anumber of relatives reside. The deceased was active in church affairs. He was a memeber of the consistory of St. John's Reforned church, Harrisburg, since 1908, and elder emeritus at the time of his death. He was a Sunday school teacher of that church continuously since 1907 and for the past 28 years taught the class that bears his name. For 43 years he sang in the church choir, and was a past president of the Churchmen's Brotherhood. He was also a memeber of the Dauphin county Christian Endeavor Fellowship and the PRR Concert company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha D Keitel; two daughters, Mrs. Harry E Yeide, Washington, and Mrs. John S. Loudenberger, Jr., Harrisburg; a son, George W., Harrisburg, seven grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers. A sister, Mrs. George Conover, resides at Littlestown, R. 2. Funeral services in Harrisburg on Friday at 1 p.m. conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Truman C. Crist. Interment at the Mt. | Kindig, Emma Susan | Mrs. Emma Suan Kindig widow of Charles Kindig, died suddenly at her home near Littlestown Tuesday morning at 6:30 o'clock. Death was due to a heart attack. She had appeared in her usual health in the morning before she was fatally stricken Mrs. Kindig was aged 68 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sheffer of Adams County. Surviving are two children. Irvin Kindig, near Littlestown and E.
