Died on Tuesday the 20th instant, at the house of David Hays, in Dauphin county, Mr. James Adair, minister of the gospel of this county (Adams) in the 32d year of his life, and the 2d year of his ministry. His complaint was billious fever and of a short continence.

Died, at his dwelling house, in Mountjoy Township, on Friday the 23d inst. William Adair, aged seventy-six years. On Saturday the 24th, his remains were interred, attended by a large concourse of friends and acquaintances.

Dr. B. F. Alleman, aged 78, father of Dr. Herbert S. Alleman, Gettysburg, died at his home in Lancaster on Saturday morning. Dr.s Singmaster and Billheimer, of Gettysburg officiated at the funeral in Lancaster on Tuesday.

Allison, Alora (Deardorff)

Mrs. Alora (Deardorff) Allison, a native of Adams county, died in Bound Brook, N. J., Wednesday evening. She was a widow of James Allison. Mrs. Allison was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Deardorff and was a former resident of Mummasburg. Surviving are a son, Robert, Bound Brook; one brother, Harvey Deardorff, Elizabeth, N. J., and four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Langdon, Bound Brook; Mrs. Susie Gillette, New Jersey; Mrs. Anna Nettick, address unknown, and Mrs. Camille Heiges, Virginia. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Allison funeral home, Fairfield, conducted by the Rev. George H. Berkheimer, Arendtsville. Interment in Flohr's cemetery. ftd-

The name of Miss Arnold, whose death we announced last week was Anna Maria, not Elizabeth. She was about 39 years of age.

"Grace Alverta Aumen. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Aumen died at her home on York street on last Thursday, aftera brief illness from pneumonia, aged 14 years 9 months and 5 days. The funeral was held on last Saturday morning, services being held in St. Francis Xavier chruch by Rev. Father T. J. ???? with interment in Catholic Cemetery. Besides father and mother she is survived by four sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Joseph Eckenrode, Mrs. Ed Stahle, Misses Kate and Aggie and James Aumen of this place and William and Frank of Baltimore."
