Third Presbyterian Church
Located at corner of Sixth Avenue
and Cherry Alley in Pittsburgh.
The original church built in 1833 was
previously located at the corner of Third and Ferry Streets in Pittsburgh
but was destroyed by fire in 1863. That same year a new church
was built at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Cherry Alley. In 1896 with
most members moving to the suburbs, it was voted to build a new church.
The current church location is at the corner of Fifth Avenue and South Negley in
the East End of Pittsburgh.
