Death From Train Collision
Saturday January 30
One man was killed and four others seriously injured in a collision between
a freight and construction train on the Pittsburg and Lake Erie railroad
at Beaver Falls, Pa., near Pittsburg.
February 4, 1910
Italian Stabbs Young Boy
An Italian, snowballed by a crowd of small boys at Beaver Falls, Pa., turned
upon them with a knife and stabbed one of them, John Watson, near
the heart.
March 29, 1913
Beaver River Floods Valley
Beaver Falls, Pa., March 23 - The Beaver river rose and the entire valley
from the Ohio river north was flooded. The towns of New Brighton, Fallston
and Beaver Falls suffered the most, and there was some damage at Rochester.
Electric light and power plants are out of commission and the gas was shut
off. No loss of life was reported
