Wm. H. Yeager, age 78 years, died
at his home in Cleveland township on Monday as the result of a paralytic stroke. He had sustained two strokes previous
to the fatal attack. For many years he followed cattle dealing and it was in this line that he was widely known.
He gathered the cattle and drove them to Pottsville over the old pike. At one time he worked at Natalie colliery,
but of late years he had been living retired. HE is survived by his widow and the following children: Mrs. Lewis
Gable and William C., of Centralia; Clarence E., Mount Carmel; Harry, Kulpmont, and John at home. A brother Daniel
and a sister, Mrs. Jerry Clemens, of Mount Carmel, also survive him.

Mrs. Rachel, widow of the late Jacob Yohe, died at her home in Mifflin township on Saturday last and was buried on Tuesday. She was
well up in sixty.

The death of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Yorks,
wife of J.L. Yorks, of Divide, occurred at her home at 1 o’clock yesterday morning and followed an illness of several
months due to a complication of diseases. Mrs. Yorks was aged 57 years and lived most of her life in Divide although
she was a native of Bloomsburg. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Charles, at home and Harold, of Trucksville,
and two grandsons. The following brothers and sisters also survive; Mrs. Elwood Hart and Mrs. Ellen Sweeney, of
Pine Twp., Mrs. J.C. Johnson, of Millville; Mrs. Fred Robbins, of Masters; Mrs. John C. Hidlay, of Orangeville
and William Kressler, of Unityville. Funeral services were held at the late home at 1 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon
and were in charge of Rev. W.R. Jones, pastor of the Methodist church, of town. And were continued at the Union
church at Waller at 2 o’clock and interment was made in the Waller cemetery.

The death of John Lundy Yorks was
a shock to all who knew him, on account of the suddenness of same. He was found dead by his son Charles yesterday
morning and apparently life had departed an hour before discovery by the son. Heart disease was the cause of death.
He was a life long resident of Jackson township, and had lived alone since the death of his wife several years
ago. He was aged 73 years, 1 month and 12 days, and is survived by two sons, Charles, who resided near his father,
and Howard, of Trucksville, also three brothers, W.L. Yorks, of Divide; Henry Yorks of Jersey Shore, and J.P. Yorks,
of Bloomsburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the late home, with burial in
the Waller cemetery.
