Harry English and the shooting of Frank Warnith and Phillip Vollmer  
On April 17, 1880, Harry English shot Frank Warnith and Phillip Vollmer when they tried to arrest him. Both later died.  These articles cover the shooting, his arrest and acquittal for murder.
