TO SECURE A COPY OF AN OBITUARY A copy of the obituary for a death listed in this index with a source of 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, or 8 can be secured from the staff at the Osterhout Public Library, 71 South Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Instructions on how to request a copy can be found on their website: http://www.osterhout.lib.pa.us
Click on "How Do I ....?" on the left and then on "Genealogy Services" near the center of the resulting page. The vast majority of those listed in the Death Indexes had an obituary published but there are a few exceptions.
