At the residence of her son, near Fruitstown, in Montour county, on Friday, the 5th inst., Mrs.
Ellen C. Fruit, wife of John Fruit, dec., aged 85 years.

Samuel Fry, of Danville died Friday June 21st at his home aged 28 years and 7 months.
Typhoid pneumonia was the immediate cause of his death. Interment on the Monday following at New Columbia. A wife
but no children survive him. The deceased was well known in this county and was a son-in-law of Henry Deighmiller
of Hemlock twp. A number of friends in the west will be pained to learn through the columns of the Sentinel, of the death of Mr. Fry.
