At the residence of her son, near Fruitstown, in Montour county, on Friday, the 5th inst.,
Mrs. Ellen C. Fruit, wife of John Fruit, dec., aged 85 years.

Samuel Fry
, of Danville died Friday June 21st at his home aged 28 years and 7 months. Typhoid pneumonia was the immediate cause of his death. Interment on the Monday following at New Columbia. A wife but no children survive him. The deceased was well known in this county and was a son-in-law of Henry Deighmiller of Hemlock twp. A number of friends in the west will be pained to learn through the columns of the Sentinel, of the death of Mr. Fry.
