Markthaler, Naomi B "Mrs. Naomi B. Markthaler, 78, formerly of Pen Argyl, died Sunday in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Theodore Markthaler. She was a former supervisor at Easton Hospital, and an instructor and assistant superintendent at Somerset (N.J.) Hospital. In 1942, she was supervisor of health service in Durham, N.H. She also was an administrator at Dobbs Ferry (N.J.) Hospital. A graduate nurse at Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, she received her nursing degree in nursing education and administration from New York University and her major hospital degree from Yale University. Born in Pen Argyl, Mrs. Markthaler was a daughter of the late Milton and Rosa (Gum) Bitz. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pen Argyl. She served as a lieutenant junior grade in the Navy Nurse Corps. Surviving are a brother Maurie of Easton and a sister Esther of Washington Township. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Nicholas V. Guerro Funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. A calling hour will precede the services." 1 Apr 1985 Morning Call

Miksch, Warren L. Warren L. Miksch, of Nazareth, died on Saturday night last at Rittersville, of apoplexy, aged 34 years. He was formerly employed at Fulmer's garage. Deceased is survived by his wife, four children, Anna, Carrie, Martha and an infant; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miksch, of Nazareth; one brother, Rober miksch, of Bethlehem and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kichline, of Reading and Mrs. Theodore Hazlett, of Philadelphia. 08 Aug 1917

Muller, Ruth J. Miller "Mrs. Ruth J. Miller Muller, 69, of 204 Strongbow Court, Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Easton and Phillipsburg, died Tuesday in her home. She was the wife of Charles E. Muller and the widow of Stanley Miller. Born in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Paul Wagner and Emma (Heaney) Wagner Albert. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township. Survivors: Husband; son, Charles E. II of Miami; daughters, Mrs. Jean Henning of Havre de Grace, Md., and Mrs. Jacqueline Cannon of Bullhead City, Ariz.; sisters, Mrs. Helen Huff of Easton, Mrs. Grace Weidman of Ackermanville and Mrs. Shirely Ealey of Pen Argyl R.1; her stepfather, Clarence Albert of Bangor, and two grandchildren.
