Young, Mrs. Isabella "Mrs. Isabella Young, 87 years old, widow of George W. Young, died at 10:37 this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Saltzer, 135 South 12th street, Easton. She had been an invalid for the past 19 years. Mrs. Young was formerly a rsident of Shamokin but had lived in West Easton and Easton for the past 33 years. She was a member of Calvary Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church. She is survived by the following children: Justice of the Peace, William H. Young and John W. Young, of Wilson; Mrs. Alice Morris, Edward P. Young, Mrs. Harvey Haupt and Mrs. Claude Saltzer, all of Easton. There are also 33 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Young, John W. Obit: John W. Young, 68 years old of 44 South Raspberry Street, died at 2:38 this morning at Easton Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on Oct. 22 for surgical treatment. Mr. Young was a native of Shamokin and came to Easton forty years ago. His last place of employment was with the Ingersoll-Rand Company and for 13 years he was a watchman and pipe fitter at the Phillipsburg plant. He retired in 1939. Besides his wido, Mrs. Sarah Young, he is survived by the following children, Mrs. Hattie Hartford, Mrs. Jennie Basta, Mrs. Sylvia Billman, Miss June Young, John and Walter Young, all of Easton; Charles Young of Freemansburg and by four grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, William H. Young, 142 South 17th Street, justice of the peace of Wilson Borough; and Edward Young of Twelfth and Lehigh Streets, Easton and three sisters, Mrs. Laura Saltzer, of 1421 Spruce Street; Mrs. Alice Morris, of 920 South 24th Street, Wilson, and Mrs. Jennie Haupt, of 1221 Lehigh Street. 03 Dec 1940 Easton Express
