At a court of Oyer and Terminer and General Quarter Sessions of the Peace, held last week, the grand jury returned two bills ignoramus, and the following true bills, viz.
Larceny 4
Accessary to do. 1
Riot 1
Fornication & x. 4
Assault and battery 3
Tippling house 1

Nicholas Abeld was indicted for larcenty, tried and convicted, and sentenced to undergo an imprisonment of 2 calender months in the jail of the county.
Matthew Dunkin was indicted for larcenty, tried and convicted. A motion made in arrest of judgment, is held under advisement by the court.
Henry Norbeck was indicted for larceny, in stealing $115 from Jacob Hantz. He plead guilty and was sentenced to the penitentiary, from which he had but a few months been pardoned, for two years.
Priscilla Lewis was indicted for larceny, in stealing a bonnet the property of Mrs. Penfield. She plead guilty and in consideration of her youth. And being penitent of her first offence, she was sentenced only two months to the county jail.
James Bradley, a mulatto boy, was indicted for larcenty, in entering the store of Eli Kirk, and carrying away sundry articles and some money. He plead guilty and was sentenced two years to the penitentiary.
James M'Dowell, in whose employ James Bradley was a waiter, at the time of committing the felony, was indicted as an accessory after the fact. It appeared in evidence, that M'Dowell, after he knew that the boy had committed the felony, endeavored to conceal him, and that for this purpose he took him to the house of a man of color, named Simmons, and offered him a sum of money, if he would hide the boy until he found it

At the court of Oyer and Terminer and General Quarter Sessions, which terminated on Wednesday evening last, the following bills were passed upon by the grand jury, to wit -

Part of which were disposed of by the court as follows, viz:
John Young, alias O'Donald, who committed the robbery on Michael Cramlong of Hopewell township, in April last, was tried, convicted and sentenced to 9 years imprisonment in the Phaladelphia penitentiary, 20 months of the time in the solitary cells.
Samuel Beidelman, who committed the robbery on Mr. Sommers of Lancaster, on the Baltimore turnpike about the same time, was tried, convicted and sentenced to 9 years imprisonment in the Philadelphia penitentiary, 22 months of the time in the solitary cells.
Joseph Spangler, for stealing some bank notes from the bar of David Kister, innkeeper, in the town of Newbury, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment.
Jacob Hill for an assault and battery with intent to kill his wife, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment. - Gazette.
