Providence County Obituaries
The funeral of John MCMAHON, who died at Mrs. McGee’s boarding house at No. 86 Pine street, took place this morning from O’Neill’s undertaking establishment. Services were held at St. Mary’s Church and interment was at Mt. St. Mary’s cemetery.
John Cook, an old and respected resident of Prospect Hill, Lonsdale, died this morning after a somewhat lengthy illness. [Pawtucket Times, Jan 4, 1898, Submitted by Karen Seeman]

At Providence, R. I. on the 14th instant, suddenly of apoplexy, Mr. Eben B. Morse, aged 40—formerly Chaplain in the U.
