The funeral of Mrs. Catherine WOOD took place yesterday afternoon from her residence, 100 South Bend street.  At St. Joseph’s Church services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. F. Kinnerney.  Interment followed at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The bearers were Michael Collins, John Collins of Staten Island, N.Y., Daniel Collins, Michael Lewis of this city, Patrick Duggan and Patrick Brown of Boston, cousins of the deceased.  [Pawtucket Times, Sept 25, 1899, Submitted by Karen Seeman]
