Judge Thompson Dies At Narragansett Pier

Judge Samuel Gustine THOMPSON of Philadelphia one of the best known member of the Quaker City bar, died yesterday at his summer cottage, Kickles, on central street Narragansett Pier, after an illness lasting all summer. He died at 12 30 in the afternoon. The body will be sent to Philadelphia today. He had been at Narragansett Pier since early in the summer season. He was over 70 years old.

Judge Thompson was a life-long Democrat and was twice appointed a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to fill vacancies. At the time of the expiration of his last appointment he was defeated for election for full term.

He is survived by two brothers, William and Ross Thompson the former having been the judges almost inseperable companion for many years.
