PICKENS COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS
 
Full name: LORENZA DOW ELROD.  Present post office: Gordo, Ala.; Was born on March 4, 1845 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; first entered the service as private on Sept. 1861 at Gordo, Ala in the Rough and Ready Co. A 19th Ala., and continued until wounded 18 August 1864.  Lost arm.

Full name: JAMES WILLIE FENDLEY.  Present post office: Gordo, Ala.; Was born on Nov. 15, 1833 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on May 1862 at Carrollton, Ala. in the Co. I., 41st Ala. and continued until 18 Oct. 1864. Wounded - lost leg.

Full name: JOSEPH MOOREHEAD GENTRY.  Present post office: Ethelville, Ala.; Was born on 1 Nov. 1837 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on 25 March 1862 at Pickensville, Ala. in the Co. C., 41 Ala. and continued until captured March 25, 1865.

Full name: JAMES HARRISON LATHAM.  Present post office: Gordo, Ala; Was born on 15 Dec. 1845 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC.; First entered the service as private on Jan 1862 at Hollands Store SC in the Co. C., 1st SC and continued until 16 March 1865 - wounded.

Full name: WILLIAM WHITLEY MCCULLEY.  Present post office: Archer, Ala; Was born on 24 Dec. 1829 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on 17 May 1861 at Jacksonport Ark. in the Co. E. 8th Ark. and continued until Johnson surrender - paroled at Taledega, Ala.

Full name: RUFUS CLARK OBRYANT.  Present post office: Millport, Ala. Was born on 13 Apr 1844 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; first entered the service as private on 28 Dec. 1861 at Knoxville, Tenn. in the Co. G., 38 Tenn Vol. and continued until Apr 25, 1865.

Full name: ADAM ANSLEY ARTHUR RICHARDSON.  Present post office: Loco, Ala.; Was born on 6 Feb. 1845 in the county of Anderson in the state of SC; first entered the service as private on May 1862 at Tuscaloosa, Ala. in the Co. B., 41 Ala. and continued until wounded at Petersburg, Va., and discharged.


WALKER COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Full Name:  CUNNINGHAM, WILLIAM CARTER Present post office address:  Oakman, Ala.,  Was born on June 12, 1842 in the county of Anderson in the state of South Carolina; first entered the service as private in Sept 1862 at Jasper, Ala., in the Co. A (Guttery) Hewletts 13th Ala. Battalion later known as Company L 56th Ala. Calvary and continued until close of war. Was paroled at Montgomery, Ala.  in spring of 1865.

WINSTON COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Stanley, Isham Anderson; Present Post Office address: Haleyville, Alabama; Born 29 Mar 1840 at Anderson in Anderson district, South Carolina; first entered the service as Private n 2 May 1862 at Marietta, Georgia in 1 st Georgia Infantry, Company A and continued until 4 Mar 1863 when I was wounded near Atlanta, Georgia after which I was never able to bear arms anymore. (29 Mar 1840-- 7 Mar 1932; C..A, T Ga. Inf. CSA. buried New Prospect Baptist Church cemetery)

MARION COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Full Name: BAILEY, JAMES L.  Present Post Office address: Bear Creek Ala was born on 1st May 1841 in the county of Anderson in the state of South Carolina, first entered the service as Private on Sept 1864 at Belton SC in the 1st SC Reserve Co. B and continued until 1st day of May 1896.  Parolled.
