WALKER COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS
 
Full Name:  DURHAM, WILLIAM BUTLER  Present post office address: MaryLee, Ala.   Was born on Sept 11, 1839 at Greenville in the county of Greenville District in the state of South Carolina; first entered the service as private on Feby 14, 1861 in Anderson County, South Carolina in the Company B 4th Carolina Infantry and continued until the regiment was broken and put in Wade Hampton’s Legion of Mounted infantry – was in Dunn’s Battalion and remained till surrender.  I was with wagon train where Lee surrendered and made my way home and was not paroled or discharged.

Full Name:  HAWKINS, JOSIAH  Present post office address:  Carbon Hill, Ala.  Was born on October 31, 1835 at Greenville in the county of Greenville District in the state of South Carolina – entered service and was detailed as mechanic at Oxmoor and Irondale Ala. making and repairing wagons for Confederate Government- Began in 1862 and remained at it till the close of war .  Gen. Wilson, on his raid, burned up all we had there in the spring of 1865

 WINSTON COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Henderson, Charles Pickney; Present Post Office address: Map, Alabama; born 14 Feb 1840 at Greenville in Greenville District, South Carolina; first entered the service as a Private on 15 May 1862 at Marietta, Georgia in Phillip's Legion, Company O and continued until the surrender in 1865, when I was Paroled at Atlanta, Georgia.

Walfrep, David Green; Present Post Office address: Helicon, Alabama; born 20 Aug 1839 at Greenville District, South Carolina; first entered the service as private on 20 Sep 1862, at Flat Rock, Alabama in 29th Georgia Regiment, Company G and continued until surrender 1865, when I was paroled. No papers
